I get the feeling they didn’t get the “backstage pass” joke by Elton. He meant it in the same way as the Princess!😂
My theory is that the writers wanted Kngsman to be a one-off but the demand for a sequel was too much so they went down the road of "we're gonna make this so insane, you won't want any more" and then it backfired because now we want more. 🤣
Fun fact about the "finger" scene at 36:50. Taron Egerton was not comfortable filming that scene so they replaced him. The hand you see sliding down her privates is not that of Taron, but actually of the actress her husband.
Merlin’s death makes so much sense when you think of the fact that him, Lancelot and Harry wouldn’t have been alive if not for egsie’s dad. This was his why of repaying his sacrifice back by dying in a similar way and protecting his son.

Taron Egerton (eggsy) and Elton John met making this movie and became friends, which led to Taron getting the lead role in "Rocketman" after Elton John vetoed the original lead casting proposed by the studio. Sir Elton John. He was actually supposed to be in the first movie, but he said no. "I asked him to be in Kingsman 1 and he said no. And then he saw Kingman 1 and said, 'My God, I'm a bloody ingrate. ' I said I'd love you to be in Kingsman 2, and he just said 'Tell me where and when, and I'm there'. The backstage access is not only for shows, especially with Elton
Egsy having one love interest in the series is one of those things that subverted a spy movie. Unlike James Bond where he moves from one Bond girl to the next, Egsy stayed in a relationship with the Princess and even ended up marrying her. Like Vanlentine and Egsy famously said "It ain't that kind of movie, bruv."
Elton John saying FU Poppy is hilarious. 😂
The president in handcuffs, phew, imagine that.
The idea at the end is that eggsy retires from kingsman. Because its been told across both movies he cant be a public figure and be a spy. Which is why he was hesitant on proposing. Harry is the only galahad now
The biggest disservice of the marketing for this movie was showing Harry was alive in the trailers. It's why I refuse to watch any trailers after the first teaser trailer to this day.
