I'm so glad you were able to clock that there's so much density to these guys. Lately, reactors have been sooo disappointing, calling Ilya toxic and, 'why don't they talk about their feelings?' THEY'RE FRIGGIN 17 to 20 years old in episode 1. How many 17 year old boys have deep conversations about emotions??? You guys even get that those sex scenes are not just there for titillation. Well done, gents.

In the press conference scene, I liked how Shane could sense that Ilya couldn't quite understand that long, confusing question and jumped in to save him. Seeing that English isn't Ilya's 1st language, it makes sense that a language barrier came out here in a more formal press conference.

Finally straight guys who actually get Shane and Ilya 😭 the way y’all understand why their dynamic is complicated instead of just calling it “toxic” like everyone else. None of what’s happening is one-sided and most reactors completely miss that. Also appreciate that y’all actually pay attention to the characters instead of just complaining about the sex scenes, those scenes literally are the communication for a lot of queer people when feelings can’t be said out loud. Great analysis, definitely subscribing.
