Ashley's reaction to Steve Martin being a dentist was great. 😂
For scenes involving the giant plant puppet Audrey II, director Frank Oz filmed at a lower frame rate (either 12 or 16 frames per second) to make the puppetry smoother. This meant the actors, including Rick Moranis, had to act and lip-sync in slow motion, and their performances were then sped up to match the normal 24 FPS in post-production. This technique was used to create the illusion of fluid, lifelike movement for the plant.
Ellen Green, the actress who plays Audrey is the only member of the original Broadway cast to transition he character from the play to the film.
I remember watching this with my daddy back in the day. He kept saying, “I know that voice.”, talking about the plant. Audrey II is voiced by the one and only Levi Stubbs of The Four Tops! 😃
3:09 A lot of people don't even realize that *Tisha Campbell* and *Tichina Arnold* can actually sing, really well! Several records and even a few music videos such as: _Don't Ask My Neighbor (1997)_ 👏👏
Achara was right. The Little Shop of Horrors was a movie first, a 1960 horror film directed by Roger Corman. It was later adapted into a musical in 1982, which then became this 1986 musical film adaptation of the stage production.
Two of the three female singers are Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold, aka Gina & Pam from "Martin." 💃🏽💃🏽 HAPPY HALLOWEEN! 🎃
YALL I'm SUPOOSE TO BE WORKING !!! AND YOU DROP THIS ONE!! aaaaah lets go
When Rick Moranis was singing and on screen with the plant , they filmed at 12 frames per second so that when they sped up the film for normal speed the plants movements were more realistic , that meant that Rick had to act in slow motion, breathing, talking, singing and walking etc all in slowmotion ,,,,,,Rick's performance in this was absolutely INSANE .... ,,,
You gotta see the directors cut. The original ending is wild
