Description

Jaby Koay and Michael Boose dive into the world of Tyler Perry with their reaction to the comedy-drama, Joe’s College Road Trip! Will this road trip be a nostalgic journey or a total wreck? Watch as Jaby and Michael break down the performances, the humor, and the signature Tyler Perry storytelling style. Whether you’re a longtime fan of the Madea Cinematic Universe (MCU 😂) or just here for the banter, this reaction covers it all! The main cast of Tyler Perry’s Joe’s College Road Trip features a mix of familiar faces and rising stars, led by Tyler Perry (A Jazzman's Blues, Gone Girl, Star Trek) who performs a signature triple-threat role as Joe, Brian, and Madea. Starring alongside him is Jermaine Harris (Saturdays, Ballers, The Map of Tiny Perfect Things), who plays the sheltered grandson B.J. Simmons. The supporting cast includes Amber Reign Smith (The Other Black Girl, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, The Resident) as Destiny and the legendary Millie Jackson (Censor, The Man with the Iron Fists, The Sinner) as Geraldine. Rounding out the primary ensemble are Bethany Anne Lind (Ozark, Doom Patrol, Reprisal) as Vikki and comedian Ms. Pat (The Ms. Pat Show, Ms. Pat: Y'all Wanna Hear Something Crazy?, Empire) in the role of Pearl. ____________________ Edit by CineJump Team & Praper Media Thumbnail by Praper Media www.CineJump.com www.PraperMedia.com ___________________________________________________ SOCIAL MEDIA: ~CINEPALS~ YouTube: @CinePals Insta: https://instagram.com/TheCinePals Twitter: https://twitter.com/TheCinePals ~JABY KOAY~ Twitter & Instagram: @JabyKoay ~MICHAEL BOOSE~ Instagram: @BooseIsLoose ___________________________________________________ SHORT FILMS PLAYLIST: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL34B19BA788E18384 Click here to subscribe and know when the next video drops: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=jabykoay Thanks for watching!!!

I love the hint of Jaby wearing the Nichelle Nichols shirt. Backstory for those who don’t know : Nichelle Nichols was the first Black woman to hold a major non-stereotypical role in a U.S. TV series. Martin Luther King Jr. expressed his gratitude for seeing someone of color like himself on Star Trek, as it was his favorite show because of her. It's a nice touch for Black History Month and also fits well with the plot of the movie.❤️

All the historic places Joe went shows you one thing that’s true: education does NOT mean educated! He knows his history and taught his grandson the best way he knew how! Look, my Pops had a 10th grade education but was the smartest man I knew! Had me reading before I was 2, watching nature shows and NOVA on PBS….had a National Geographic magazine subscription for years and raised me and my siblings with an awesome career that spanned 40 plus years! Uncle Joe reminds me of my Pops…smart and funny but serious about education and history. This movie made me laugh and cry at the same time…miss you Pops
