Everyone here who wants Michael and Ashleigh to continue this iconic franchise, put on your karate gi 🥋
And Ralph Macchio still has the yellow car.
Great Film Series RIP Pat Morita
Pat Morita has been gone 20 years now. Still impacting viewers.
Notice when Mr miyagi tells Daniel to choose a car. The keys with Mr miyagi's dog tags were already on the keys in the ignition of the yellow car. Mr miyagi new exactly which one Daniel would choose.
They actually gave Ralph the car as a gift after they finished filming. Still owns it even today! He also still has the headband.
We were taught good lessons as young Gen X'ers. Movies like this did mean something to us.
The Cobra Kai member that told Johnny to back off during the Halloween fight is the same guy that was forced to injure Daniel’s leg during the semifinals.
All of us kids, back in the day, were pretending we were Daniel and kicking in the air like he did in the end. 😂😂
Not sure if anyone mentioned it...Manzanar was a Japanese internment camp where Japanese Americans were forcibly relocated. They were forced to leave their homes and most of their belongings and put into barely adequate camps in the California desert. Their crime was merely being Japanese. Mr. miyagi's wife died in this camp while Mr. Miyagi was fighting for a country that was actively imprisoning his own people. A truly tragic part of our history.
