inb4 our brains get unskippable ads every 2 minutes
This reminds me of the Black Mirror episode where they introduced a subscription fee, and if you didn't pay, the user would randomly say ads.
bruh, imagine getting a brain implant that restores your vision but then the company decides to switch to a monthly subscription model and holds your brain for ransom
"Can you come out of your house, sir?" "Why" "We've noticed you've been thinking about things you shouldn't"
From a purely marketing standpoint, I might suggest Blackrock Neurotech to change their name ASAP.
*_It was such a relief when he said that Blackrock Neurotech was not the same as Blackrock the global investment management company..._*
Remember: if it CAN be abused it WILL be abused.
In the future I'll be a robophobic anti-implants old man yelling at anyone who will listen about how back in my day there was the ability to enable ad-block and how we didn't have to pay to see in 4k
Tech companies can't even run a decent website. No thank you
"The FDA has things under control" is a terrifying statement.
