I've lost track of the amount of channels I've had to say ' do not recommend channel ' it's so annoying
I find it utterly confusing, hypocritical and nonsensical that YouTube are constantly de-monetising decent proper content creators for copyright infringement and yet they are willfully giving you the tools to clone and copy other legitimate YouTube creators styles. Seems like a contradiction and somewhat of a conflict of interests. What message are they trying to tell both creators and consumers?
I generally rely on my subscription feed more then the homepage and sidebar recommendations but this limits new channel discovery
Ive been reporting any AI generated channels I find and so far YouTube has done nothing to address these. They could easily label AI generated videos but they don’t. The truth is they don’t want users to be able to tell the difference between human-made and AI-made content.
Even the ads are ai-generated slop showing fake people, pushing fake courses or therapies to fight popular problems. I'm European, it's not legal to make unrealistic health claims, but YT is American..
8:20 interesting pie chart you got there😂.
I find myself reaching for the "do not recommend channel" button all the time now
The worst is when you see it in older publications. I saw Sports Illustrated article that clearly had AI generation.. the tell was it got timing wrong, it was talking about past players as if they were still on a team, and no one even checks it apparently.
It’s so disrespectful for people to think that you’re using AI. You’ve been on this platform for what feels like forever! I greatly appreciate your effort
Very disturbing to see youtube themselves posting AI slop documentaries pretending to be human with inaccurate information. Perhaps youtube needs to ban their own staff?
