Description

To ancient peoples, the night sky was not a backdrop. It was a library. The stars held maps, stories, and encoded information about the past and future - and the myths built around them were precise enough to survive tens of thousands of years of oral transmission across entire continents. JJ Ainsworth demonstrates that ancient myths can be reconstructed through linguistic analysis. By tracing etymologies and comparing oral traditions across cultures, philologists and linguists can recover some of the earliest known mythological frameworks. The Proto-Indo-European migrations provide the clearest pathway - as people spread across Eurasia, their myths traveled with them, maintaining core elements while acquiring new names and settings. The reconstructed myth JJ presents carries the same foundational characters across every culture it passed through - a first priest, a first king, divine twins, a cosmic bull, and a third man. The same structure that appears at sites like Göbekli Tepe, nearly 12,000 years ago, eventually produced Romulus and Remus and the founding story of Rome. The characters changed. The architecture of the myth did not. @megalithicmaiden

I will sign of on that Göbekli Tepe is a story of survivors - not creators.

Finally found someone talk about this! When you chart the migration paths using genetics you will see that the only genetic dispersal out of the near East for the most part were the Anatolian neolithic farmers. Every other indication suggests that migration came into the near east from the steppe with their storm gods codified in Babylon under the Kassites among others. King Tut's yDNA along with his father and grandfather was R1b..... Hyksos??
