some day Isaiah will sit down with Tonka and show her creepypasta on an ipad and she'll ask him "is this supposed to be scary?"
Hunter's dad tangent reminds me of when I had a knee injury in high school. I was stuck in the living room with nothing better to do, so I was binging Death Note. My dad got ready for work, which meant about ten, twelve minutes in the kitchen/living room area, and left. Then he came home almost 12 hours later, and said "They still haven't caught this fucking guy yet?" And in hindsight that was one of the funniest things he's ever said to me.
"what do you do with your time" is the funniest but meanest thing to say to a kid who's just trying to bond
There's been many adults who lost their lives to a single stab wound. To survive being stabbed 19 times at such a young age is nothing short of a miracle.
I hope Payton is living her best life in total obscurity.
“People cared more that she ate pringles with ketchup than the fact that she would buck and neigh” is the most accurate statement about public school I’ve ever heard
The "my father hates me for existing so I'm going to be a funny guy" pipeline makes more and more sense with each passing decade
I worked at a juvie for two years and we had a lot of kids come through with mental health issues that were being treated and some were untreated and I can tell you it gets pretty hard sometimes. You try your hardest to make sure they don’t hurt themselves or others and it does get to you mentally when it happens, because no matter how hard you try it will, there’s simply too many kids and not enough staff that care. But then sometimes you get a kid who thinks they’re a werewolf and they go out of your way to warn you that a full moon is tonight and that kind of makes it better. He was a polite werewolf too we’d let him howl twice and then ask him to stop and you’d just hear a growling “hhhrngh-okay”
I cannot IMAGINE being left in such a state and still managing to crawl your way to safety and basically becoming your own rescue efforts in a nightmare scenario... as a CHILD. Her label as being a "Total Badass" in just about every recounting of this event I've heard of is well deserved.
34:50 Imagine one of the girls that was weirded out by Isaiah playing Jeff the Killer story at the party finds out years later that Isaiah has a podcast dedicated to reading creepypastas 💀
