The dating is from the walls, like Hugh said, and is very interesting because the walls were built of smaller stones and even have bits of broken T-pillars in them! That implies that the pillars were there long before the walls were, long enough to have fallen over and broken, and then people later came along and used the rubble to encircle the remaining pillars. It's probably much older than even the already very old established dating.
