You couldn't have convinced me 10 years ago, that in 2026 we would say "In 2026 you must be using a terminal" xD
3Blue1Brown makes his animations with a python library he created, and it's called Manim you can use Claude to write Manim code to make his type of animations.
im a 7 years motion designer and 3d artist, i try this and this sh*t is suuucck asssss
hire him back the video was edited badly
Wonderful, thanks a lot! You are the first to talk about this. By the way, I gave Claude Cowork the link of this video and literally ask it "listen what this guy is say and do whatever he is telling to do for installing the Remotion Skill...do everything"...and it did! Amazing.
Haha, the stuff these new skills can do now — I actually tested that out about 2 months ago already 😉. I tried generating a 4K video, around 10 minutes long. The result was kind of a Gameboy-style story: the characters stayed in the same spot the entire time without moving. There were cool effects and animations running in the background to match the storyline, but since the characters didn’t move and the story was just presented through text overlays, it didn’t look very exciting. So I ended up shelving the project for now 😅. That said, I really love the whole concept of skills! For example, I built a so-called “Photoshop Skill” — though the name’s a bit misleading: you don’t need Photoshop installed at all. Claude Code just runs its own custom scripts that I wrote specifically for it. With those, it can apply many classic Photoshop-like effects, transform images through multiple iterations, and even carry out complex editing steps. The big downside, however, is that the model doesn’t have good visual understanding. It doesn’t really know what looks “good” or realistic. A lot of the effects look strange or off — and only after prompting it does it admit, “yeah, this doesn’t really look great.” 😅 But here’s what actually works super well: Claude can break down any image into smaller parts — like using the lasso tool in Photoshop. That’s genuinely useful, especially if you want to make the background transparent or extract specific elements from an image. All you need to do is drop the image into your project folder, tell Claude what you want from it and how, and it will automatically identify and cut out the relevant parts for you. Super handy for production use. 💪

bro ur the OG. and thats from our MIT hacker group...
Works pretty well in Opencode as well. About 5 minutes and you have a video. Amazing
When speaking about AI agents and tools like ClaudeCOde, it's not like using a terminal typing commands manually. It's basically a chat window.
