My token burning experience makes me think the AI services will become rich man’s amusement. I liked some of the tasks I accomplished with AI. But, I feel that once the companies stop absorbing the real cost, it will be a different landscape.
Damn! I wasn't expecting this David. Thank you for doing the effort man. 🔥
I stumbled upon Pi, then starting exploring, soon went to using. Since YOLO mode is default and a huge security risk, I decided to sanbox it byusing a VM using KVM on Linux. I started improving Pi agent using it with DeepSeek V4 and I am impressed. I started by crafting a skill, then went to coding 2 extensions. One for web search, and the other for a memory system using a vector database running locally. This only after 2 days exploring. I have to say this LLM agent is a game changer. I was using Kilo code, which I really enjoy, but now I am never going to back to someone's else agent. I've got more ideas, but going to slow down and figure out how to build capbilites I need slowly with more thinking and planning.
Outstanding interview brother! 👊🏽🙏🏽✌🏽
1:30 it’s kinda reassuring to know that everyone has moments of discouragement and then moves past them
Very good interview David, you are growing and you are keeping up 👍🏼
