"The Problem with Plastic": How Pollution Is Worsening Climate Crisis & Hurting Our Health

People like to poke fun at the Romans for lead water pipes, meanwhile we’ve fused plastic into our every nook and cranny.

There needs to be a serious effort to globally ban plastic.

Many plastics need to be banned outright. Other plastics need to be tightly controlled and recycled. Discarding plastic into the environment should be a crime.

Nasty and disgusting how companies don't care about humans. .

Problem is that Industry machines are using plastic in every step of any food and grain products. From bags, machines, tubes, water hoes, buckets, scoops, milk exractors, Cartons with fine plastic linnen inside (every milkcartons). Even in hospitals and health, blood carries in plastic bags for blood, tubes goin in our bodies, plastic suringes, plastic gloves, plastic mahines for anything in hospitals. Its just crazy

Nobody talks about the ol plastic toothbrush we pop into our mouth every day, breaking off countless little pieces through our mechanical scrubbing.

We cannot ignore plastic pollution, these are killing our oceans and wild creatures! Whales, seals, sea turtles are eating plastic and dying!

If you want any public policies & new environmental laws instated, make sure politicians are informed that it adversely affects their male testicles. They will start taking the issue more seriously.

A law blocking plastic from land fills was proposed decades ago. I live in tampa, all refuse here is burned for energy. Its not perfect but eliminates the majority of pollutants that reach the ocean.

What about the PFA pesticides that are going to be added to the US food supply without required labeling???
