Who wouldn't want to make a deal with people who tore up the last deal and bombed them twice when they were working on a new deal

Joe Kent, the former director of the US National Counterterrorism Center, said that negotiations with Iran are not possible “until the Israelis are restrained”. Having resigned from his position last month over Donald Trump’s decision to pursue war with Iran, Kent said that US military and financial support for Israel should be restricted in order to protect American interests. In his resignation letter addressed to Trump, he wrote “Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby”.
