Description

This episode of DemystifySci asks a simple question: if forces act, what is actually moving? Physicist Dmitrii Osenilo revives a gaseous aether model built from hydrodynamics, vortex motion, and mechanical principles rather than abstract fields. Light, charge, and spin are reframed as structured flows in a compressible medium, with Maxwell’s equations emerging from fluid dynamics instead of postulated forces. It is an argument that physics should not stop at mathematics, but push toward a coherent, visualizable account of what the vacuum is made of and how it moves. @26:00 What Anastasia is pointing out about "metaphysics" or foundational assumptions is exactly why the argument that "the mathematics work" should carry no weight whatsoever. Of course they do. They just show your assumptions back to you.

I've been following you guys since you did the Terrance Howard interview. As a RF Technician, I've always had an interest in the electrical aspect that seems to be tied to all things. Many years ago, I came across the research of Eric P Dollard - which focuses heavily on the ideas of Oliver Heaviside, Nikola Tesla, J.J. Thomson, C.P. Steinmetz, and Ernst Alexanderson. I consider it to be some of the most important history and research that I have ever come across. I've always wanted to see a 'review' of his material by you guys. While most of his work is paid content, there are 3 videos freely available, and serve as an introductory series - History and Theory of Electricity, Origins of Energy Synthesis, and History of the RCA Bolinas Station. In regard to his paid work, and related to the discussion of the aether, his two presentations 'Extraluminal Transmission of Tesla and Alexanderson' and 'The Power of the Aether as related to Music and Electricity' go into much more detail, as does his other follow on videos. My only gripe with the guy is that he never presents his own theory. He just provides his take on the work that was started by others, and has unified it into the basis of a new engineering science.

Really Great Interview. I've been hanging out for a while here, always open-minded, curious, ultimately skeptical. With this video, for me personally, a tipping point. Fascinating

im confused how magnetohydrodynamics was not brought up especially when boundary layers were brought up. The existence of j x b and the poynting vector exist but arent explained in normal mechanics and they must be explained in any complete theory.

I tried to tell my high school physics teacher that it was fluid dynamics and not traveling photons. That was 45 years ago. All hail the Math God!!!!!

Crazy how Dimtrii is explaining this in his second language, yet it’s the most sane explanation and discussion of this topic I’ve ever heard! Assumption 1 - your theory should be understandable 2.) your theory should be explained by mechanics. if those are true we can build models we can actually understand and imagine. So simple yet so powerful, I really like how it leverages humans natural talents like imagination , it’s so difficult to work with a theory that isn’t amenable to the human e.g it’s all just matrices and vector maths stuff bro don’t imagine just do maths. 😢😅

About the speed of light... One thing that grinds my gears, the index of refractance (speed of light) varies per wavelength in all materials. But people tend to just use one number for the index of refractance.
