Description

This conversation follows a simple insistence: if physics describes the world, it should also describe what is physically moving. Dr. Robert Close lays out a material, elastic picture of reality where quantum spin, torsion, and angular momentum emerge from deformations of an elastic substrate. Light, charge, and gravity follow as natural consequences. Rather than treating equations as final answers, the discussion asks what atomic-scale landscape could make those equations true. It’s an attempt to return physics to mechanism, material, and the courage to hypothesize on what the math and experiments actually mean. He's describing exactly what we've found at Physics Monastery. It's heartening to hear it described this way, as I've been struggling for the vocabulary to explain it. The medium (Aether) expresses the Higgs and the electromagnetic field (and probably others). When twisted into a knot, a standing wave is induced and a particle is formed by coupling the waves projected manifold to those fields and to other manifolds through resonance. Measurements appear as quantum due to the coupling action occurring only on prime harmonics - energy is only transferred on that resonance. The wave within the manifold is in constant motion, only appearing to be pixelated from outside it's boundary. The frequency, amplitude, charge, temperature, and length of that standing wave determine it's relationships to all other waves and provide all 288 Constants of Nature.

It's always impressive when someone proposes an= simple physical explanation for mass, charge and spin. Including gravity is a nice bonus.

Great thought provoking conversation. Dr Close unites light, charge and gravity under one large “classical” tent: that of torsional occurrences displaying phenomena that we have observationally termed transverse and shear/longitudinal waves. He modestly and almost tangentially comments that the particle concept, the “billiard ball” of the materialist physicist, or the “point” masses used by the mathematically inclined, is a false and misleading notion, “particles” being merely dynamic, torsional systems displaying varying degrees of angular momentum as a result of their vortextular action. While his approach assumes an aetherial substance which must be involved to impart the motion based activities he addresses, little time was spent in chewing in on this fundamental, philosophical question in the limited time our hosts were given. Inpartment of motion is a clear necessity for any of the well presented ideas Dr Close gave us regarding his more classical descriptions of reality. He seems to fall back on the dynamics being infused into the system through electromagnetic interactions of matter(?), which to me has an untenable, “bootstrapping- pump priming” sense to it. In my opinion, the only way out of this conundrum in order to maintain his well thought out and supported hypothesis is to assume an aether composed of motion itself. He already assumes an intangibleness of matter, which I agree with whole heartedly. Why not just state that the wave dynamical aspects of shear and compressional observations that result in torsional features are derived from motional volumes, whose velocities differ, intersecting to cause the sense detected things we objectify and call “objects”? This is the aether of motion, and can only be detected if relative volumes of differing velocities intersect and initiate these vortextular features we call atoms or galaxies ……..and all in between. Great talk! As I said, thought provoking. And Anastasia, as you said, his touch on this aspect of his theory was the most world changing. So true. And the coined word Mathimagician was priceless……hadn’t heard it. Great job once again guys.

this is exactly what i expected when i was looking up (asking questions) to teachers in elementary school this is what i thought school would be i thought it would be students asking teachers and investigating life and working it out on the board boy was i frustrated and disappointed but at least my peers admired and respected me for trying at such an insanely young age to try and pry into these divinely amazing topics ty guys your channels is my dream come true

One of the deeper lessons I'm learning is that Einsteins aren't rare and aren't *supposed* to be rare. We need to move towards a world of abundance where these insights are the norm and not the exception.

This is how a podcast should be done. Hosts who understand the subject matter, ask the right questions, and don't interrupt the guest but engage in a way that makes the listener feel part of the conversation. What a wonderful, honest, valuable conversation. Hats off to you. And to Robert Close, for whom I now have the greatest respect.

Loved how on headphones it sounded midway like Stasia and Shilo were totally baked in a school class and literally melting and struggling for breath laughing. Rewatched with eyes and it was all just genuine joy and grasping mentally at his model. Wonderful show as ever ❤

Very good episode. Pretty much right on in regards to how light and forces propagate.
