Nothing she said was incorrect but I was hoping for some more actionable items.
I can't find myself agreeing with her. Felt a lot like, 'Things are bad and getting worse, but any attempts to fix it are equally as bad'

I love the phrase "Choose your own adventure for truth" I loved those books when I was young and I think it's a super apt analogy for what social media has become.
Ok can we maybe acknowledge that this is a dilemma. I find it quite annoying to portrait this as a choice between censorship and freedom, when the actors exploiting that freedom ultimately fight for censorship that excedes the one that is rejected on an astronomical level.

I wish this conversation were a little more productive. It's definitely possible to pass legislation that punishes social media for predatory misinformation. I don't really think it needs to be argued on grounds of free speech because it's mostly an issue with publishers.
