I've loved Hutch since the days he was at Machinima, and I'm also very big into how he's turned to a political streamer who did not turn down the "toxic, tankie leftist" line. He's honestly the kind of person who was. He might make some mistakes, but he's sincerely trying to do politics in a manner not for ego or power, but for betterment of all people. I do hope the more moderate left and people like Destiny do keeping helping to platform him to some sort of wider public audience.

A big thing Destiny is missing about Arizona is that the state GOP has been running HISTORICALLY unpopular candidates for a handful of election cycles, which is why we've gotten a Dem governor and three Dem senators while the rest of the ballots have still been split or primarily red. Martha McSally TWICE and Kari Lake TWICE. We're definitely increasingly purple, BUT in a state where half our sht is named after John McCain, this is one of the few places where old school / actual conservatives still exist...which is why MAGA candidates (besides Trump) have been even less successful here than elsewhere
