This guys is literally the problem. I don’t think he’s a bad guy or even malicious. But he has so many opinions he’s very confident in but when pressed at all you find out he knows nothing about said opinion.

PF Jung is painfully unaware of his own intellectual inadequacy. He clearly thinks that he is aware of it, but he has dramatically overestimated the depth of his knowledge.

The second the PF realizes that Destiny knows more than him about a topic he wants to back off the topic.

So one thing that I learned in school that I will never forget, is that during history class we first learned about World War II and all the atrocities, and then we watched a documentary called "The Wave." It was based on a real story of a social experiment conducted in a school to try and recreate the circumstances that bred the Nazi movement, and not only did it work, it almost got out of control. The thing PF has to realize is that he is using "normal people" as a shield from criticism, but "normal people" are fully capable of supporting a monstrous culture. That a portion of the people in Russia is probably already convinced they should support World War III, because of the constant small droplets of propaganda that skews their view of normality. PF doesn't realize how much propaganda he has already consumed, and how far off the center some of his views already are, that "centrism" as a whole has become encapsulated by right wing ideology as a means to sane wash a lot of the crazy rhetoric that comes from the right. And we have a blatant example of it already. We all know, both the left and the right, that Trump lied when he said the immigrants were eating the cats and the dogs. And we can rationalize that it's crazy that was the best candidate the republican party has to offer. Every "but" that comes after that, is talking points absorbed from the right. A true centrist would want someone competent that doesn't just outright demonize people to be president, and the fact that Trump has become the favored centrist candidate despite Kamala and the democrats having done more for the working class on the book (and Trump already doing so many things that only favors the upper classes) demonstrates how completely removed from reality this conversation has become. When you say things like "I'm just being honest," you're not actually being honest---an honest view is taking a step back, and analyzing things more objective. The "honesty" here is "my feelings," and your feelings are highly subjective, and easily poisoned by propaganda. We have facts like Fox News had to settle a defamation case for knowingly lying and disregarding facts, and still it is the most watched network in America by far. These are things you have to contend with to be in the political center, and you have to recognize how difficult it is to walk a neutral path when the ground you walk has become so polluted with misinformation trying to sway you to one side or the other.
