Bro the switching between “road” and “roadway” from Connor is such an important distinction. He uses the idea that she was “in the roadway” to intuition pump that she was obstructing, literally in the way of cars. But then switches to “road” as paved surface for cars to include the part of the road that is not a “way,” not a place where cars travel down. He wants to speak as if she was in the way of traffic using roadway, but has to switch to road to include the parking spot she was in.
