I do remember taking those Meyers-Briggs tests back in high school. Absolutely HATED them. Many of the occupational choices I was given from what I filled out were GARBAGE. Thanks for reminding me of them.

Oh man, I used to love this MBTI thing back then. I think I was INFJ. I can't remember what it means, but it definitely was fun to do, especially if you don't know anything. Of course, it's just surface level stuff, but it leads me to a lot of introspective reflections too.

The problem with personality and zodiac tests is that they gather information from only one perspective, yours. Which we all naturally try to make ourselves look better when tested on ourselves. A true personality test should include your own perspective and the perspective of others around you, as many as possible, from close friends and family to people who don't know you as well. That information could be then cross referenced with your own answers to determine the most accurate percentages and identify any discrepancies in your perceived viewpoint. For example if you believe you are funny but if others don't agree then that can help identify areas of potential improvement. It'll also help verify specific traits. If 9 out of 10 people say you're trustworthy then you would be considered trustworthy. However if you feel you are trustworthy but others don't agree, that could help to growth and understanding of one's self and make the appropriate changes.

personality tests specifically take me a LONG time bc i take time to think about them and ponder what is most accurate. i've never *once* taken a personality test "quickly" or "in just a few minutes" -- not only am i a slow reader naturally, my personality type is the type that considers a ton.

"I'm an Omega, what does that mean?" It means Mark's gonna get you pregnant.
