First off I am 66 years young and was retired from work in 2021, I got tired sitting around so much that I ended up getting a full-time job at a big chain store lumber department. It is a very physical job with lots of heavy lifting and movement. I do approximately 20,000 steps per shift. In the last 6 months I have seen much so improvement in my physical capacity and flexibility. I feel like I am in my 30’s. I truly believe exercise and movement are a very important part of the equation. I also eat healthy (Keto), try to keep my stress level down and to get quality sleep. Thank you Dr Berg
I'm 55 years old, and I have been eating your healthy keto for the past year and a half. I was 350lbs before starting and now 200lbs. I keep active by doing lawn care work everyday for the past 5 years now. I only eat once a day, (omad) Thank you, Dr. Berg for all you have done to get me at this point and hopefully for the rest of my living time on earth. ❤️🙏
I am 63 yrs old and work a full-time warehouse job. Combining that with 2+ yrs of low-carb eating and IF(I find OMAD extremely easy with a full-time job), I honestly have never felt healthier. Thank you Dr. Berg for ALL of your advice, education and inspiration over this time. Take care.
I try to do 6000 steps a day. Although I have to sit 8 to 9 hours a day as part of my job, I do move around every hour and clean my house constantly on purpose. It does help me a lot
I am mid-50s and have exercised at least 4x weekly since high school. I never regret even doing something as "simple" as a walk. Exercise helps my brain from bouncing all over the place. Get out there - your body will thank you! Nice work everyone.
My home health clients live in their recliners. They eat, read, watch TV, and nap. I told my husband I do not want a " decliner" chair. We try to sit outside in the fresh air.
I do a couple of hours of lifting or running/walking and swimming a day. Got jacked up, T levels are high, mental clarity is there. Oh and I beat throat cancer recently with some intense dry fasting. Good luck everyone 😊
I love exercise. Gardening in a 65' x 35' area gives me year around exercise! I'm 70 years old. I love being able to step out my door and get to work! Planning, digging, hauling stuff around. Harvesting food and the beauty of the garden are a few more benefits of the garden. Bending, stooping, stretching, Because I do not plant in rows I plant in patches that can get creative and take thoughtful planning. I❤exercise. Oh yes, I get to socialize about the garden too. Sometimes I make a v about something new or unusual. I love you videos. Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge.
After much self reflection I admittedly am sedentary most of the days on most days. I’ve been considering ordering a lap top stand so I can stand up at my desk while I work. Its 1:47pm and I have less than 2000 steps. I also find myself so mentally drained by the time I get home that I end up watching tv when I get home. So it’s more sitting around. It’s cycle of habits that needs to be addressed and changed.
