The chondrocyte is a cell that makes up your cartilage. Arthritis is often related to stress that originates in the endoplasmic reticulum of these cells. Surprisingly, this cell has receptors for bile salts! There are two types of bile: one made by the liver and secondary bile produced by your microbes. This secondary type of bile acts as a potent anti-inflammatory in the joints, protecting them and reducing inflammation. TUDCA is a specialized bile salt that can reduce stress in the endoplasmic reticulum and can be incredibly beneficial for arthritis and joint pain. Vitamin K2 prevents calcium from building up in the soft tissue. A deficiency can lead to calcification in the joints and arteries, as well as the formation of osteophytes. Whether you have rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis, vitamin D is one of the most effective anti-inflammatory agents. It is also incredibly beneficial for addressing autoimmune conditions. Joint pain and arthritis are often triggered by the following: •Food allergies •AGEs (sugar and protein byproduct) •Infection •Seed oils •Microbiome problem Here are 7 foods to avoid with arthritis and joint pain: 1. Emulsifiers (Polysorbate 80) 2. Low-fat soy protein powder 3. Refined seed oil (Aldehydes) 4. Alcohol (Purines from beer) 5. Casein A1 Protein 6. Modern wheat (Gluten content, glyphosate, amylopectin A, WGA) 7. High fructose corn syrup The following foods can help reduce joint pain and inflammation and reduce the symptoms of arthritis: 1. Fermented foods 2. Healthy fats (Olive oil, avocado oil, fish oils, grass-fed animal fats) 3. High vitamin D3 foods and omega-3 fats 4. Sulfur-rich foods (Onions, garlic, cruciferous vegetables) 5. Collagen (Bone broth) High amounts of iron can contribute to arthritis, so it's best to keep your intake low. Try TUDCA to support the endoplasmic reticulum in your cells and reduce joint pain. This is completely off topic of FOOD, however, I've got to say something. I'm a pianist, 79 years old, and I've got really bad arthritis in my hands and fingers. So, I decided to go on a 7 day fast. I've done short fasts before like 24 hrs and 36 hrs, but no long fasts. So now I'm in my 5th day of fasting with 2 more to go. The most amazing thing EVER EVER EVER HAPPENED on the 4th day of the fast. My hands and fingers started to get better. Now on the 5th day, its TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE. The arthritis and stiffness in my hands and fingers are GONE !!!! I know. I don't believe it either. But I keep moving my fingers to see if I'm just dreaming. Now my fingers work perfectly. I'm going to practice some more piano.

I developed arthritis in my fifties. Suddenly, on holiday in Thailand, my fingers looked like frankfurter sausages and were so stiff. My rings weren’t fitting. I went to a Persian doctor in Shanghai who suggested a diet change. I had a Candida a Albicans gut infection as well . This was from too many carbs and antibiotics from a recent surgery. I went Keto for four months. All I had was low carb veggies, meat, butter, meat, eggs , tea and coffee. No dairy. No alcohol. After a few weeks, the pain disappeared in my joints, and after 8 months, my fingers were back to normal and my rings were fitting fitting again. I have been eating this way since 2014, with the occasional piece of bread, pizza or cake. By that I mean about 4 or 5 times a year. And then, I pay the price with a gut upset. I will keep eating this way, because to me, a life free from aches and pains and other potential problems is worth more than anything else.

Our 85-year-old neighbor struggled with arthritis pain in her fingers. She realized the canned soups and salty processed foods she loved were loaded with sodium and preservatives that made her joints ache worse. Her son replaced them with homemade vegetable soup, sweet potatoes, and a handful of almonds for snacks. In time she noticed she could knit again without constant breaks. She says food became her “medicine,” and it restored a piece of her independence.
