Did you know that when antibodies from fibromyalgia patients were injected into healthy lab mice, those mice developed pain hypersensitivity? Low vitamin D is very common in people with fibromyalgia. Vitamin D controls almost every part of your immune system, especially the natural killer cells. Fibromyalgia is an immune problem, so fixing a vitamin D deficiency can be one of the most powerful tools for mitigating fibromyalgia symptoms. Fibromyalgia is also related to low magnesium, low zinc, and existing autoimmune diseases. If you have fibromyalgia, you must reestablish the proper fuel for your nerve cells. Ketones can bypass the damage and start feeding your neurons. Fasting has shown significant benefits for fibromyalgia relief and recovery. If you have fibromyalgia, prioritize rest over exercise and ensure you focus on increasing the right nutrients. I got the diagnosis 15 years ago, i was basically bedbound for years, i'm now in great shape at 34 years old. What helped me most are these steps: 1: full body cupping massages to release years of build up tension. 2: i eat atleast 6 (entire) eggs a day and keep proteine above 2 gram per kilo bodyweight (i weigh 73 kilo so i eat atleast 146 grams proteine a day) 3: only eat 2 times a day, usually at 12:30 and 18:30. 4: after doing step 1, 2 and 3 for a while, build up physical movement, prioritize walking and try to do, or learn how to do a deadhang. I took me a few years but those steps took me from sleeping in the living room because i could not get up the stairs anymore to being able to walk 10 km a day while carrying a 10 kilo backpack.

I have been diagnosed with it for close to 20 years as well as questionable psoriatic arthritis. Sadly most doctors don’t know how to treat this and make me feel stupid or it’s all in my head. No sir it’s all over my body.!! I know so many people who are treated this way by the healthcare professionals. I had a rheumatologist tell me she couldn’t help me because she doesn’t treat fibromyalgia. Meanwhile the previous rheumatologist was wonderful and helped me and was understanding but unfortunately she retired . It’s extremely hard finding the right doctor.

Fibromyalgia when triggered can convince a person they are insane, it is an overreaction to a/any trigger, if using overreaction... That's an understatement in the least!💧

Explaining fibromyalgia as a mitochondrial and immune issue rather than a psychosomatic one is incredibly validating. The connection to backup energy systems and lactic acid buildup perfectly explains the chronic exhaustion. 🧬

As a physician, I’ve met many people with fibromyalgia who were told their symptoms were just stress. No one should have to fight both the pain and the disbelief. Great information here 🙏 God bless everyone on this journey.
