Motion Theory. Reality = the current motion we find ourself in.
My personal opinion is that the "God hypotheses" is UNLIKELY to be true, BUT that does NOT/ can not equate to "it isn't true".. Humans can do NO better than to GUESS at these things.. Peace.
Stephen Meyer, the thorn in the side of secular science. lol
Carol is not in the position disproving God. On the other hand, it's up to the believers to prove God. Never forget about that quite fundamental law in philosophy - and science.
Intelligent designers have a bias towards theistic explanations because it aligns their religious beliefs, thus with their morality and concept of an afterlife. It's hard to be rational when doing so conflicts with your moral values and hope for eternal life.
Does the Universe need a designer ( Gods/ Goddesses/ deities etc) ? Is the observer the designer regardless of shape or form of life forms? Maybe the universe expresses itself. Baring in mind it is possible that the universe is infinite and eternal ( Roger Penrose theory) . Also baring in mind if you were to go back throughout your ancestry way before humans came about in the shape and form, you would come across a completely different species of life form. All nature is connected and in constant change ( evolution). In my mind the universe doesn’t need a reason or why, it just is.
Intelligent design…indeed. But will we ever come to recognise its structure? For 100 years we were all taught to ask incorrect questions, most prominently regarding the dual slit experiment. That simple experiment has all you need to know to know all. You get you answers to everything, of only we re- think the wording we use. Einstein couldnt see it, and so could none after him did…and as a result we end up in the non- issues like multiverse… 100 years without progress…its not just Caroll..its in all of us..we need to go back in time and think harder which words to use when describing the double slit experiment …words are cricial
Physicist Wolfgang Pauli famously joked that his first question for the Devil would be, "Why 1/137?" If this mysterious fraction were altered even slightly, our universe could not exist. Known as the fine-structure constant (denoted by the Greek letter alpha, α ), this number characterizes the strength of the electromagnetic force, dictating how strongly particles like electrons interact with photons. Unlike the speed of light or the mass of an electron, which change depending on whether you measure them in miles, meters, or kilograms, the fine-structure constant is a pure, dimensionless number. If you take the elementary charge of an electron, square it, and divide by the product of the speed of light and Planck's constant, every unit of measurement perfectly cancels out. An alien civilization using completely different units would still arrive at the exact same value of approximately 1/137.036.
If the universe were just a bunch of random events strung together… when did the randomness stop? How can an experiment have repeatable results, if the universe is random? The scientific method would not be possible without the laws of physics… and the laws of physics would not be possible without a “Law Giver.”
Nothing is wasteful when you have infinite resources.
