Can't wait! Nothing is known about the physiology of hunger or satiety. GLP1s were accidental & explained afterwards --reverse engineered. Ideally, things are changing, BUT as Dr. Fung points out, most pros are satisfied with the same old, same old that never works. Let's move forward w Dr. Jason who has cared for his patients enough to delve into the phenomenon of the body itself having agency in the process of weight gain & maintenance. TY for that Dr. Fung & for being able to speak like a regular person to us, for empathizing, & trying to move the field of knowledge further.🥂❣️

What helped me so much about Dr. Fung's book "The diabetes code" was that I could read the book and the he tells the 'secret' what to do. It was not like weight watchers, for example, where I had to go in person every week and they use up time week after week going over stories and making you memorize their diet plan. It was a lot of effort and while people in weight watchers did lose weight, it was a constant effort and hassle. And a continual money drain paying for the classes. The diabetes code taught me to do intermittent fasting. Did not have to go to weekly sessions or memorize menu plans. I started intermittent fasting in 2018 and was ecstatic with my weight loss progress. In 2022 I went carnivore, and now in 2026 I do both intermittent fasting and carnivore diet. In the past my doctor had me work with a dietician. That was a big shock, because the dietician told me things that were not true! I have learned since then that dieticians teach according the old food guidelines, which emphasizes grains, fruit and vegetables - the very worst things for diabetics to eat. The world has completely changed since those bad old days. THE FOOD PYRAMID IS UPSIDE DOWN !!!.
