Bro is fighting for his life trying to say good things about the prelude
The prelude sounds just awful under acceleration 😩
Honda wouldn't get so much grief if they would have called it what it is: "Honda Civic Hybrid Coupe".
Honda, we’re not mad. We’re just disappointed.
Honda are experts at disappointing their own fan base.
"Sir Not-Appearing-in-this-film" is the Nissan Z, msrp is $42,970
So here is the math, assuming the national average gas price of $3/gallon, it takes almost 200,000 miles to "save enough on gas" to offset the purchase cost difference, not even mentioning "present value" vs "future value" argument for paying almost $10,000 more cash up front. Really a stretch to say the fuel economy justifies the price premium for the Honda.
Legend says the prelude is still trying to hit 60 mph since the filming of this video.
Prelude must have felt sad when the cars on the freeway were passing it near the end of the 1/4 mile run. lol
We gathered four of our favorite coupes for this test and found that each has its own strengths and weaknesses. But were there any other two-doors you'd consider around the $40,000 mark? Let us know in the comments below!
