Good thing we weren't already getting close to a space junk catastrophe with all the StarLink satellites zooming around up there.
I’ve had Starlink for three years now and I love it. Accidentally damaged one of the components they had it on my doorstep in 48 hours at no charge. And they never once have raised their prices rather they’ve dropped. I don’t know how you compete with that but I’m not changing.
My cable internet service is now $30/mo thanks to competition from 5G home and satellite internet services. I hooked up my grandma with visible 5G home internet for $25/mo.
"Create new markets and own them" is still a great way to make a lot of money but, like everything, it requires that your business management skills are as good as your innovation skills.
Does anyone know how much starlink makes from Ukraine? Their entire defense revolves around starlink to use their drones.
I think any competition in this sector is a good thing! I need to explore more cellular phone options, I'm no impressed by the big 3. I wonder if Starlink or Leo will help in the area of cellular service?
Competition. Awesome.
Amazon deserves oodles of anti-Trust lawsuits this Christmas.
First time I've ever been glad that Jeff Bezos was doing anything this is going to piss off Musk
Starlink is already pretty cheap and competitive as it is. I've seen starlinks mounted in the poorest areas like trailer parks in the Mississippi delta.
