Isn't it overkill to delegate to Opus for web search? Isn't Haiku sufficient for that? I mean wth?
I was using superpowers sdd skill, which have instructions to start implementation using subagents only.
If you make sure that all planning tasks must include code snippets with Fable or Opus. Then code execution can be done with Haiku or sonnet 4.6. Don’t waste your tokens Haiku can follow instructions just as well as any model.

The best is to start with super cheap models like DeepSeek or Gemma and then to climb up the ladder. You will see that DeepSeek is damn good for certain things. In the end you combine multiple models in your harvest.
Thanks from Saudi!
DO you have a link to the actual script or prompt?
pro tip: when you pay per token price you stop using Claude almost completely
They extended… Not enough anti patterns collected? 😂 Jokes aside. Since the export restrictions I have a new credo: good enough is completely on point. 🎉 If Sonnet fails I ask Opus. If Opus fails I ask Fable (as long as it is available, I’ll never pay separately). And I always tell Claude which model is to use for sub agents. (Claude Code Desktop) - Btw, sometimes Opus and Sonnet use autonomously Haiku-agents to solve certain tasks. I was surprised seeing Haiku at the stats.
