next time .... BEFORE you harvest potatos.. cut down the foilage 1-7 days ahead ... .skin will harden then, saves you some trouble when harvesting

Here in zone 7b, I like to grow potatoes that are usually grown in Syracuse NY. I think the variety is called Keuka Gold. But they are grown for a couple months and pulled up for the younger potatoes; specifically for the dish called "salt potatoes". You can't really find the delicacy anywhere else so I chose to grow it. Ended up getting 13 lbs of them.
