Jacques showed up like a fan favorite guest star on a sitcom
Kevin, I don't know if you or Eric have ever tested this garden hack, but the revolutionary hack I tried this year and it actually worked: I started carrot seeds indoors in egg flats (the 30 egg cartons). I always struggle with germiniating carrots. I forget to water them, i put a board on top to keep the water in the soil and forgr tto rmeove it etc. This year Icut the bottoms out of each egg cell in a 30 egg flat, filled eith potting soil and planted seeds and started them indoors with my tomatoes and peppers. It was easy to remembe rwatering rhem, i thinned them out at eye kevel om a shelf and then just transplanted the whole egg carton into the garden - bonus the egg csrton workd as a great mulch to keep weeds down and will break down in the garden.
Grats on the fox farms sponsorship. Pretty impressive!
“You’ll probably have them [nasturtiums] for years to come” *cries in zone 3b*
LOVE when Kevin & Jaques work together in videos like the old days
I have a lot of sweet asylum growing in my vegitable garden right now. I decided to throw wild flowers to give more flowers to the birds and bees. They're growing all around my tomatoes, and I'm happy to see this. I live in Georgia and have been trying to make my clay into nutritional soil. This year, I added a lot more compost from my bin and wood chips. I see so many beneficial insects and isopods in my garden now.
About to start my own raised bed for the first time, I know I'm a little late to the season, but I still have faith! Wish me luck!
first time ever i saw fire flies in my yard. they loved hanging out in my sunflower patch during the day.
Have been falling in love with thyme in the kitchen lately!
Can you explain why we don’t want to plant signet marigolds near tomatoes 😮
