Here in the Midwest, looking at the 9 inches of snow on the ground and high temps in the low 20s... Watching these videos and dreaming of getting the garden going again!
"This year it's been pretty warm." Ya dang West Coasters and your lack of nasty winter storms.
I REALLY enjoy these collabs with different hardiness zones. My zone is similar to Gardener Scott and I trust his experience greatly. Thank you all!
I bought a bag of seed potatoes last year and ended up forgetting it on a shelf for 4 months. When I opened it the potatoes had shriveled and developed 6+ eyes each. I planted them in my front yard anyhow, in an area I pulled out grass to try and use as a garden so super poor soil that was not worked or ready for a garden bed in any way. I share this because they ended up sprouting after 10 days or so, and in 2 months I had about a pound or so of the “Taty’s” and a few golf ball size ones. We let them sit for a few days and then cooked them up for dinner. Even with horrible growing conditions with the poor soil and starting real late I still ended up with something. It was a great feeling and totally recommend trying Potatoes if you haven’t yet.
Just wanted to say that I joined the Greenhouse. I'm not a paid shill...$49 for the year is wild. I'm currently sitting at work on a slow day and I have my garden planned to a TEE in the planner and took advantage of the free shipping and all to order some more beneficial flowers. This planner is addictive. I may have a problem lol.
So grateful to be part of another video! I love seeing what everyone is growing in different zones!!🤠
Thank you for including Scott! His advice is so helpful for us 5bers!!
Oohoo Gardener Scott! 😊Some how YouTube stop showing your channel in my feed. It's nice to see you sir
Your February conditions are our mid May conditions here in North Idaho.
Can’t wait to see how Shannie’s Canadian melons do in FL. I’m going to start mine 2 was earlier to get a jumpstart on the bugs.🐛
