Fun fact, the phrase "Longer than you think" is also an allusion to how long it feels waiting to respawn in game.
Fun fact: if you squint at Emesis Blue as a whole, itโs complaining about respawn times and how management (Valve) will NOT help you
11:24 fun fact, Ludwig (medic) shoots spy twice because jeremy (scout) said: "Doc, if they ever hit you with something, hit 'em back twice as hard."
I always love this meme when I see it. Blu Lore: Intricate story of government corruption, mad science experiments, and man wanting to play the role of God. Red Lore: โI teleported bread.โ
My favorite theory of time travel: you going into the past doesnt change anything because it already happened. No branching timelines. You just fulfilling what already occurred
The Respawn Machine has a 99% chance to successfully regenerate a person who went through it Scout is the unlucky 1%, and his contract has a clause that makes him fired without pay should that 1% occur, and more importantly he can't sue them because of the contract
Funny thing to take into account: Soldier, being one of, if not the only person in Emisis Blue to refuse to take the pills also happens to be one of, if not the only character, to survive to the end

The scout comes home scene is really creepy. Scares like this genuinely get under my skin.
my favorite theory is that its not just "longer than you think" but longer than you can possibly think for, like literally longer than it takes for the human mind to think of everything you could possibly think of
