warriors won before kd and after kd. before kd joined the suns the suns won like 65 games and lost in the semis and the season before that they made nba finals. Last season the suns missed the playoffs with him and this season they made it without him. the rockets are a lower seed this season compared to last and will most likely win less playoff games going against a team without their two of top 3 players. Kd just is not that impactful in winning.

This series is showing why KD, when you're comparing him to the all-time greats, just doesn't belong in that conversation in approaching top 10 or top 20 status. He's a great SCORER, but he's not a leader and he can't carry a team or franchise the way the true legends can. He's a complimentary piece to put you over the top, but he has never been and will never be a guy who can lead a team to a title. Being opposite a 40+ year old LeBron here and getting out-done at every level is just highlighting this.

Outside of Golden State (who didn't need him) every team KD plays on is "flawed"...I wonder what the common denominator is.

KD deserves 100% of the blame. 9 TOs is atrocious, you can’t even outscore 41 year old LeBron and scoring is literally your only skill at this point. The team needed you and you did nothing. It’s been the same way his entire career. He’s not a leader and he’s not assertive when the team needs him to be.

The playoffs truly expose just how mid some coaches are. The rockets haven’t had a pg all season, ime didn’t find a solution. And the entirety of his game 2 adjustments were “KD please save us.” Meanwhile the lakers are missing Luka and AR and JJ gets guys into positions to succeed.

Yes KD is always to blame. He isn’t Batman. He is the best Robin to ever play, but people keep thinking he is Batman
