I will say this as a Hawks fan. Darnold appeared on the injury report with an Oblique tweak. His numbers also had digressed from early to late season. However, his playoff ability has not been affected. The SF game he only needed to game manage, and still made some very good plays. And he balled tf out against the Rams. I think Mayes shoulder injury shouldnt be a factor, and the Hawks game planning against a healthy Maye is the objectively correct decision
