Like if you want Gary to eat a biscuit
A video explaining the concept of the post world war 2 wealth redistribution is definitely needed - what actually happened and how/why did it take place?
I've said it for a long time, and it's what Gary also often points out: you cannot have a functioning economy based on just a handful of billionaires, with everyone else being piss poor. You need masses of relatively wealthy people, who work and consume the products of each other's work.
when the creation of the NHS was making its way through parliament after WW2 the tory party voted against it 27 (TWENTY SEVEN) times. that fierce resistance to 'better standards of living' for the non-wealthy (aka:folks who work for living) is very much alive and well today.
If A.I increases productivity, it just means more profit for the business owner, the worker very rarely benefits from increased productivity.
Imagine joining a game of Monopoly 5 minutes before it's over, everyone else has all the money and motels and you start with basically nothing, but you're still expected to win.
why does no one talk about the forced adoption of AI at subsidized costs and the impact to wages once AI companies start charging final prices
TAX WEALTH NOT WORK. Bless you Gary
So we only need 200-400 years and two world wars to see the improvement after the AI revolution? Neat.
