Patriots are not meant to be efficient, but to be sold at a very high price. It's snake oil.
As opposed to the 100% interception rate for government military contracts.
Every American military system has its own laundry service.
In other words, the Patriot PAC-3 and the Iron Dome are about as effective as prayers in missile defense, except prayers are a lot less expensive.
