I loved my lite brite. But in middle school I lent it to my friend, and when we had a friend break up, she never gave it back. So, Ronke, if you’re reading this, I know it’s been 12 years but I still want my freaking lite brite back.
my favorite reference to the classic mr potato head was in toy story 3 when he puts himself on a tortilla and a cucumber when he doesnt have access to his normal plastic body
The original Mr. potato head was made by Hasbro as just the face pieces to put on real potatoes. One of the brothers that founded hasbro had decorated them for his sisters to play with as a child. They changed it in 1952 to the plastic body when people started complaining about their kids keeping rotten vegetables.😅😂
Many old toys actually had good design when it came to fine motor control, midline crossing, memory, etc. These skills are lacking in many kids today, and you can really see that with the new Lite Brite
Love how Rhett has the exact same Bop It expressions as last time they played
"I bet you if we could do it better, we'd be better at it," is something I feel on a regular basis haha
“Everytime you bop it, think of me” is WIIIIIIILD
Me: “hmm, that looks kind of phallic….Oh, it’s supposed to. I see”
The collective booing from the crew when link 'held up' his light brite 😂
the bop it saying "im going to sleep" woke up some nostalgia sleeper agent in my brain
