My husband works at the factory that makes the Snyder’s of Hanover peanut butter pretzels, they also make Costco’s and Trader Joe’s 🫡
This episode is harnessing the energy of a thanksgiving table family argument
My husband worked in food and beverage for nearly 30 years, with part of his role running wholesale. It’s expected to make slight adjustments to product to make the buyer happy. It’s likely many of these are all from the same companies, but Trader Joe’s simply requested an ingredient swap here and there.
As a TJ’s employee, I can confirm wonderful makes TJ’s pistachios. How do I know? The TJ’s brand gets shipped in Wonderful brand boxes.
I'd like to mention that companies that have contracts follow the recipe changes. That's why slight change in taste even though made by the same company exist.
It feels like Rhett and Link exchanged personalities in this episode.
I’m with Link. I think they’re made in the same place with slight batch adjustments
I used to be a manager for a Northeast Supermarket chain; and Utz made our store brand chips, but they DID NOT taste the same. So, a food manufacturer could be making something for another company, but it won't always be identical to their own product.
To be fair to Link, some of these things are likely made by the same manufacturers, and the difference is negligible.
“He’s got ED, don’t listen to him” “I DONT HAVE ED” This had me choking my drink lmao
