Good example of the movie being better than the book. None of the book characters are likable and like Spielberg said, you're rooting for the shark. Perfect film. A personal top 5.
Steven Spielberg is the one to watch out for I tell ya
It took me the entire duration of the intro to realise he's wearing The Outfit from The Movie and not randomly standing in spectacles next to the seashore
As I’ve gotten older, the Quint monologue has become the centerpiece of the movie for me.
Pippet is alive. Like to this day, the dog lives. He sensed the shark and ran and learned the ways of immortality
"...baptism of water...so like a regular baptism" 😂 excellent episode so far. "Heres to swimmen with bowleggit wimmen"
man, thanks for putting this out man, i had a real shitty day yesterday, my cat died and it really just ruined my whole day, this really lightened up my day
I've never overlooked the death of Pippit!
My parents took me to the drive in to see Jaws in 1975. I was only 5 years old, but I had such a love for sharks they knew I'd enjoy it. I gotta say growing up in the 80's, there was always a new Spielberg movie released every summer. It was great.
Every time I saw the scene where Brody reacted to seeing the shark with his cigarette hanging from his lips, it always reminded me of my dad when he was younger. Nowadays it’s bittersweet, as it hits home that he’s no longer here…
