Note for Hollywood: when a movie franchise goes out on a high note where the film's title is "THE LAST..." there's no need to make more sequels.
I don't think grabbing the hat at the end means he's coming back for more. I think it means he's gonna bone with his hat on.
Apologies for the reupload, had an audio issue with the first video. Unfortunately I sounded really British but we couldn't fix it. Sorry.
I enjoyed the movie, the right amount of nostalgia, action and camp. The de-aging felt off but overall completely enjoyed the film. Harrison Ford is one of the last remaining movie stars and it’s a privilege to see him work!
16:28, I will say, at least with Crystal Skull, while Henry and Marcus passed and the Red Scare era left Indy being wrongfully suspected of treason to the point of disrupting his teaching career, in every other aspect, Indy repeatedly proves to everyone that doubts him that he isn’t some irrelevant relic nor does he view himself as one. He constantly demonstrates being competent and driven even despite his struggles, most notably in how he while he indirectly mentors Mutt on their journey together. And while he may initially come off as sad and alone, he ends the film with a new family and having come full circle from repairing his strained relationship with his father to developing a relationship with his son (which work well in fitting with Indy’s character arc from the treasure hunter obsessed with fortune and glory to someone who primarily values the people around him. Instead of missing the past, Indy instead finds a shot at a brighter future.
The Siege of Syracuse sequence was amazing, they should have just let him stay there and then have Helena uncover something ancient with Indy involved somehow, like an ancient text book or artifact or something.
I went in with crazy low expectations but wow I am so pleasantly surprised it was simply more than I could ask for… I thought it was great
If a reboot means we get more of that beginning (First 25 minutes) than I’ll honestly take it.
I saw the movie last night and it was good. don't understand why people troll these movies. compared to crystal skull this one had much better supporting characters. wombat is a good contrast to indy as a treasure hunter and this one had one of the best ending sequences of the series.
After hearing so many negative reviews, I was a bit worried to see it in the theater but so happy I went. I have seen all Indiana Jones movies in the theater from the get-go so it felt like it was full circle to see this one in that environment too. It was better than I expected but did feel sleepy toward the middle but absolutely loved the ending. Brought me back to the 1st one. 😚💋💞
