It's me Mt and welcome back to the Heavy Spoilers show! And remember that one time we all stared at some chairs to find out who all gun be there for the multiversal affair that is Avengers doomsday? I do! And amongst all those names of MCU actors that have been confirmed for this next Avengers movie are actors from 20th century Fox's original X-Men Cinematic Universe. However despite the excitement of getting to see these actors step into their respective fan favor roles again, there are a lot of people, especially those in the general audience who don’t read comics, that are wondering exactly what purpose the X-Men will serve during the events of Avengers Doomsday and how they are necessary for the overall plot? Well let's talk about it together my nerd babies because the X-Men's inclusion next big event is set to start off some huge problems for our favorite Heroes of mcu-616. All right so, when Marvel Studios dropped the Doomsday Deets with a long line of seats, they also officially revealed that the actors who have played the characters of Beast, Nightcrawler, Cyclops, Mystique, Magneto and Professor Charles Xavier in the original FOX X-Men trilogy would also all be involved in the multiversal Mayhem to come. This is, of course, alongside Channing Tatum's Gambit, a fan favorite from the recent Deadpool in Wolverine movie…and a take on the character that 20th Century FOX would keep in development hell that would have seen Channing Tatum lead his own Gambit movie in 2020. But Marvel Studios would, of course, prune those plans to The Void once they bought ownership of 20th Century Fox back in 2019.
