Season 3 episode 6 is here and it's packed with easter eggs and callbacks to the comics. Throughout this video we're gonna be going through everything you need to know including the comics that the main points pull from. That is issue 59 which sets up one of my favourite characters in the series. Last season we interviewed Co-showrunner Simon Racioppa and one of the last things I said to him was how im excited to see Powerplex down the line. I always thought he was an incredible example of how revenge often just leads to the destruction of yourself and those around. In the end you often realise the only person you destroyed was yourself which I think Poweplex exmplifies. Voiced by Aaron Paul the series tells a really personal story that sort of feels like it builds off the thematic points with Tether Tyrant and Magnamaniac. Beyond that we also get tie ins to issue 51, 53, 58, 56 and at long last, the super secret origin of Rex-splode.
