Touted as being Miles vs every spider-man the upcoming film is the first in a two part storyline centred around the events that are kick started in this film. - Now the first Spider-verse movie had the heroes all having to return home due to them glitching out in Miles universe. However we saw Spider-man 2099 in the post credits scene and he brought with him a new device that stabilised ones multiversal travel. This can be seen on everyones wrist and i'm guessing that Miles might weaponise these at some point to stop the Spider-men chasing after him. 2099 seems like he's gonna actually be an antagonist in this movie nad it's a far cry from how he's depicted in the comics. It's likely because of him that all of the Spider-men have been pulled together however it's very much his way or the high way. Incase you don't know, his real name is Miguel O'Hara and he's half irish and half mexican. Coming from the futuristic city Nueva York the character made his way up the ranks of the Alchemax corporation which controlled most of the city. You might recognise this from the first film as being what Kingpin used to create the mutliversal portal and they're probably gonna be a big threat in every universe. Working as a scientist for them he was pressured into running an experiment on himself which would imprint genetic codes onto humans. His DNA was spliced with that of a spiders and it gave us the powers that we see him having here. We don't really find out his full plan in the teaser but due to Miles and even Gwen possibly going against him I think I have a fair idea.
