And the episode opens with Jerry Smith setting a record for TV’s most annoying family member as he annoys his dead grandparents in the afterlife. This happens after Jerry somehow is convinced by Rick to become a guinea pig and die repeatedly for Rick to gain valuable scientific data about the nature of the afterlife.
