The part in the movie where Alex’s mom walks out the house with scissors held high in her hand the whole time and walking in such a weird way was so freaky. Then having no vision of her after she gets to justines car window and walks around and opens the backseat door and just pauses for a sec, then reaches slowly towards her hair and cuts off a piece of it then leaves. Such an eerily haunting scene, the whole time I was like helllllll nahhh. lol
They didn’t say they were never seen again. They said “they never came back” A subtle but HUGE difference, considering they never fully came back
I might be misremembering, but the narrator at the beginning doesn’t say ‘they were never seen again.’ I think she says ‘and they never came back.’ That makes more sense because they were found and ‘seen again’ but because of the trauma of being under the spell, mentally they ‘never came back.’
Alex is a brave kid..bro was chilled AF with most of everything and very smart at the end
At the end when the narrator says that “his parents are still being fed soup but it’s not by his aunt”, I assume this means they were institutionalized. Which is why he now lives with his other aunt
Starting laughing so hard when she realized what Alex did
When Gladys was a clown, that sh!t was scarier than Pennywise
alex is actually such a smart kid
I loved that it sorta became a comedy near the end because the jumpscares and tension was so high throughout the film for me, it felt so good to just enjoy watching the kids get their revenge.
