As a whole the season kind of just felt like set up with it not really having a massive pay off. I even had a tweet go semi viral earlier in the week where I talked about what I think the main problem was. I said it felt like episode 8 in a 10 episode season and I think if we'd had two more entries then those events would have left fans a lot happier. Those would either feature the battle of the gullet or the storming of Kings Landing or potentially both. What we've been left with though is more of a tease of whats to come and a two year wait for whats likely gonna be another 8 episodes. However I think the issues go beyond just structure and that it involves the two key characters. Throughout this video I wanna talk about how we can fix the show and make it so that it pays off in the end. Obviously this is just my opinion and if you disagree then drop yours below.
