Mostly. Throughout this video we're gonna be breaking down the movie and talking about what happens with the ending. With that out the way, thank you for clicking this, now let's get into Alien Romulus. - Ok so the movie takes place between the events of Alien and Aliens with this being a relatively unexplored time period. We have seen certain aspects of it in Alien Isolation when Amanda Ripley went looking for her mother. When it comes to the movies this is the perfect bridge between the first two films though and that even comes down to the tone. The movie starts off slow similar to Alien before ramping up in the action department akin to its sequel. Ridley Scott was a producer on the movie though so it definitely leans more towards the former. This includes the logo at the start which is completely inline with the original Alien. We start in space with names appearing in white which comes after the 20th Century Fox Fanfare. That fanfare ends with the notes going down which is something we got at the start of Alien 3. Not resurrection, which I was a bit disappointed about but ey, breakdowns on the channel now. Either way at this point Weyland Yutani is at the height of its powers and out in the galaxy looking for Bio weapons. Aboard the Romulus Remus spaceship we see their experiments being conducted.
