Per the ice cream examples in this episode: this came out almost 20 years ago. Many ice cream manufacturers are now making fake ice cream which is by law referred to as "frozen dairy dessert". Drumstick is one of those things that got this treatment. This concoction is part vegetable oil instead of butterfat, more corn syrup, and a lot more overrun (air whipped into it). A whole bunch of ice cream companies have taken this tack, claiming customer preference (sure...... it's more profitable, that's THEIR preference). I stopped buying Blue Bunny ice cream because they first shrank their cartons way down like many other companies, the price went up, and then the quality went way down in the form of "frozen dairy dessert". Yeah I singled them out. Check your local brands. I won't buy Drumstick either anymore.
When I heard the intro, I was scared it wasn't the regular narrator. Thank God it is! This man's voice has helped me fall asleep for probably 20 years.
I miss the good ole days working for a Potato 🥔 chip company called “Granny Goose.” I live in Anaheim California & this company is no longer unfortunately, but I remember the wonderful smell of potato’s frying. We got to eat as much of potato 🥔 chips we wanted on our breaks or lunch. All you had to do is go over to the conveyor belt that went up ⬆️⬆️⬆️ & down ⬇️⬇️⬇️ and we were supposed to put our lunch boxes right underneath the conveyor belt that was coming down and let the potato 🥔 chips FALL INTO OUR LUNCH 🍱 BOXES without any part of our hands hitting the potato 🥔 chips. It was like potato 🥔 chips falling from heaven 😇😇😇😇
I would love to know who designed the machines, they deserve a lot of credit and a huge income.

I miss when Drumsticks actually had that many peanut bits all over the top. Now you're lucky if you have a few right in the center of the very top. I wonder how much money they saved/made doing that 🙄
Here I thought Utz was just another faceless national brand, not realizing it's an American family enterprise.
Imagine working on the "defect line" picking out fresh, hot potato chips...couldn't be my chonky butt. 😋
