The idea of a cosmic horizon reminds me of the episode of star trek next generation where the enterprise accidentally traveled millions of light-years beyond the observed space that humans knew about and found life forms that didn't exist in a way that made sense based on human knowledge of physics

I sure wish the History Channel would bring this program back with new episodes and with same narrator he is awesome! Now with our new moon missions, interest in space should start skyrocketing so I think it would be a popular show! Just sayin'.
